Applies to: Atmos Home Treadmill — SE4 Console
A Time goal workout on your Atmos Home Treadmill with the SE4 console runs for a length you choose. This article shows how to open Goal Workouts & Tests, pick 20, 30, or 60 minutes or type your own, choose a terrain, and set your starting speed and the highest incline level the workout will reach.
Read the steps below, or watch the short video.
Setting it up
- Tap Choose Workout on the home screen, then Goal Workouts & Tests.
- Tap Time. A short description appears — tap Set Up Workout to continue.
- Choose your time. Tap 20, 30, or 60 minutes, or use the keypad icon to type any length you want.
- Pick your terrain from the list.
- Set your starting speed and your level, tapping each figure to open a keypad.
- Tap Start. The console counts down from three, shows “Let’s Go!”, and the belt starts.
| Speed is your starting speed — it will not change unless you adjust it yourself. Level is the highest incline the workout will reach, not the level it starts at. |
Choosing your terrain
Every goal workout asks you to pick a terrain. This is the shape of the climb, and it runs in the background while you work toward your goal.
| Terrain | What the incline does |
| Flat | Holds a steady incline for the whole workout. |
| Hill Interval | Alternates between two incline levels. |
| Rolling Hills | Rises and falls steadily through consistent levels. |
| Random | Changes incline unpredictably. |
| Kilimanjaro | Climbs to a peak, then descends. |
During your workout
Your time counts up at the top of the screen. You can extend or shorten the workout as you go.
Speed and incline stay under your control throughout — use the – and + controls, or the Quick Speed and Quick Incline shortcuts. Tap the Entertainment, Terrain, or Stats tiles to change what is on screen. The blue button switches into cool down mode, and the red button pauses and then ends your workout.
Troubleshooting
- The time I want is not one of the buttons. Tap the keypad icon beside the preset buttons and type it in.
- The workout is easier than I expected. Raise your level, or switch to a terrain with more climbing. You can change level partway through.
- The console went to sleep before I finished setting up. That is ErP Mode. Press STOP on the Stop Keypad to wake it, and see the ErP Mode article to give yourself longer.
Safety Clip the emergency stop cord to your clothing before you tap Start. Use the handrails as the belt begins moving, and keep your feet within the walking surface. |
