Process limitation: Works on Desktop Chrome or Edge web browsers only! For unsupported browsers, the widget will attempt a reduced fallback flow where possible. This process won't work on iOS/Android devices!

Instructions

This widget extracts a valid released .PND file from a selected ZIP package and saves it to a user-selected destination drive and folder. Only files for Symbio, SE4, SE3HD, ST, SE3 and 70T are supported in this process. Console Software Release Center The Widget uses the processor of the device to extract and save the file. Depending on CPU performance, if the source and destination are on the same drive, or using USB 2.x vs. USB3.x devices, the process could take longer.

Open this page in Chrome or Edge on desktop for the best experience. Firefox browser could work, but not guaranteed. iOS and Android devices are not supported for this process
Click Select source ZIP file and choose the ZIP file from any accessible drive or folder.
The widget only scans the selected source ZIP for supported package ZIP filenames. It does not inspect those package ZIPs during this scan.
If multiple valid package options are found, select the correct option for the console and its current software version.
Click Select destination folder and choose in which drive and folder the extracted file should be saved. If a file with the same file name already exists in this folder, it will be overwritten automatically, without any notice
Click Extract PND file.

Special handling in this widget:

PROM_MX8_SE4.zip is treated as a Discover SE4 / Symbio recovery PND package.
PROM_MX8_SE4D.zip is ignored as a development PND package and should not be used.
For PCI_MX6_ files names a selection box will be shown to select which PND for which Console (SE3HD, ST, SE3, 70T) needs to be extracted.
PCI_MX6_A.zip and PCI_MX6_S.zip are saved with a lowercase .pnd extension.
