How To Apply Software Updates Via USB

To install software updates directly on your console, follow the instructions below:

Note: You will need a empty USB drive with at least 4 GB of storage capacity.

1. On your browser, go to the Download Software page.

2. Locate the software package that contains the update for your particular console version and click the Download button.

3. Unzip the downloaded file and copy all extracted files to the root directory of a blank USB flash drive.

4. Insert the USB drive into the USB port on the front of your console. The software update should begin automatically. This process can take up to 45 minutes to fully complete. 

5. Remove the USB after update is fully completed.
