During the initial Life Fitness Google Cast™ setup, there is an option to choose a nickname for the equipment.
Many facilities have their products numbered (ex. Treadmill 1, Treadmill 2, Bike 1, Bike 2 etc.), where a customer may want their products numbered similarly. Make sure to ask the facility manager prior to setting up the equipment so these can be labeled accordingly.
This nickname is what the exerciser will see (image below) when connecting to the equipment.
Setting A Nickname For Your Equipment
• The Casting Device name should be changed to differentiate itself to other equipment
• Select "Set TV Name"
• Enter a Custom casting device name such as “Treadmill 1” OR select the TV Serial Number or Console Serial Number to pull that prefilled name into the casting device TV name.
• Select "OK"
