Casting Setup Requirements​

Hardware Requirements

• Wireless connection (Wired ethernet connection is not supported). 

• Contact the facility manager to get the Wi-Fi network name and password.

• Casting Box + Mounting Bracket 

• LG Setup Remote + IR Sensor 

• PC 

• USB Flash Drive 

Software Requirements

• Console SW Requirements: v5.13.17 or later 

• Minimum Casting Box SW Requirements: 

• US Version: v03.55.70 

• EU Version: v03.70.50

Note: LG-6500 to discontinued August 2026 and replaced by LG-7600

Setup

The initial setup requires a remote due to a video resolution screen needing an IR input to bypass. You will require the below SKU with a facility order. • •Orderable SKU: CASTING-IR-REMOTE 

•IR sensor plugs into the External IR IN 3.5mm jack •You can connect the IR sensor when the Casting Box is full installed
