12/18/2020: If during a workout and a remote button is pressed and the Life Fitness Heat Performance Row battery charge falls below 2200mV (5%), the console will show a notification once in every workout. After the next start and restart of the console, a Low Battery splash screen will be displayed on the console. This is the reminder for the user to replace the battery.

If CHECK REMOTE BATTERY is chosen, the remote handle is scanned and the user is prompted to press any button on the handle to trigger the transmission of the battery charge. If the battery is depleted, there will be no single notification in a workout as the console never receives a signal from the remote buttons. Nevertheless, the Low Battery splash screen will continue to pop up on any restart. If the battery is tested ok, the Low Battery splash screen will not show up again on any restart of the console.

See the following for the Life Fitness Heat Performance Row Handle Battery Replacement Procedure
Note: If the handle battery is replaced, the handle and computer must be paired again.
