Beacon Installation
Install Beacon
The Beacon constantly sends “beacon messages” (BLE-packages) in a range of 20 meters . The messages are interpreted by the Life Fitness App, which the user has installed. This will connect the user to the gym site, giving the user gym specific programs.
It is recommended to mount the Beacon on the ceiling close to the reception or entrance to ensure that the users will get connected to the gym. The Beacon will come with a battery. The battery must be installed and the button pressed and held for 5 seconds to turn on the power before closing the beacon.
Install a “Beacon”: Scan & add beacon
Press the Beacons tab in the site overview.
Press the “+” button in the Beacon overview.
Press continue when a beacon has been found. You can match the serial number in the app with the number on the face of the beacon.
The Beacon has now been added to the site! Press Complete.
Modify a “Beacon”: Delete beacon
Press the Beacons tab in the site overview.
Press the trash bin to delete the beacon.
Press yes to confirm and delete the beacon. Otherwise, press no.
