Having a reliable and strong internet connection is an important part of not just keeping your equipment connected to Facility Connect but also ensuring your exercisers have a great experience at your facility.
This article is designed to help you get started with connecting Life Fitness equipment to the internet. If you need help setting up your network we recommend reaching out to your service technician, IT department, or local ISP (Internet Service Provider) for the most accurate and up-to-date information.

Connecting Equipment To Wi-Fi (Wireless Network Setup)
The following process is for Discover Series consoles (SE4, SE3 HD, and ST) as well as Symbio consoles. For other consoles, see the list below of related wireless setup articles.
Accessing the System Options screen on your console
1. On your console home screen, tap the Language icon in the bottom-right corner.
2. Inside the Select Language window, tap the bottom corners in the following sequence: Bottom-Left, Bottom-Right, Bottom-Left, Bottom-Right. After this, you will see the System Options menu appear on the screen.
3. Tap Configuration, then tap Wireless Connectivity.
4. Tap the Enable button and then tap Scan.
5. Locate your network from the list of discovered networks. Tap the network name and enter in your network password (if applicable).
6. To check if your equipment is connected and communicating with Facility Connect, log into your Facility Connect account and go to the Equipment page.
7. Locate the row containing the serial number of the equipment you just connected to the internet. If you have a green dot in the Status column, then you're all good!
Equipment Connection Checklist
These tasks will need to be completed at your facility prior to Life Fitness equipment being installed.

- Internet network is set up
- If using a wired network, ethernet cable is run to each unit
- If using a wireless network, access points are set up and installed
- Network meets appropriate bandwidth to support product features and number of installed units
- Network speed has been tested
- Network outbound traffic (and associated return traffic) allows for specified ports, protocols and destination domains
- MAC addresses of units has been whitelisted (if necessary)
- Facility Connect account is set up
- Internet bandwidth is adequate for the use of on-demand features. We recommend at least 2.5 Mbps per unit.
