Applies to: Atmos Home Treadmill — SE4 Console
This guided tour of the SE4 touchscreen console on your Atmos Home Treadmill covers the home screen — Log In, Quick Start, and Choose Workout — your workout stats and the Entertainment, Terrain, and Stats views, the speed, incline, stop, and cool down controls, and the hardware around the screen including the wireless charging shelf, USB port, and headphone jack.
Read through the tour below, or watch the short video.
The home screen
Three large buttons run across the bottom of the home screen.
| Button | What it does |
| Log In | Signs you in to your Life Fitness Connect account by scanning a QR code with your phone. Signing in is what saves your workouts. |
| Quick Start | Begins a workout immediately, with no setup. Speed and incline start low and you take it from there. |
| Choose Workout | Opens the workout library — Coach Workouts, Goal Workouts & Tests, and Interactive Terrains. |
Around the edges you will also find a Language button, a Settings button for your weight, units, and Bluetooth devices, and a shortcut to browse on-demand classes. There are buttons for connecting an Apple Watch and a Samsung Galaxy Watch too.
During a workout
Your stats run along the top of the screen — time, distance, calories, and heart rate — with a back arrow and a home button beside them, and Bluetooth and Settings icons on the right.
The middle of the screen is yours to choose. Three tiles switch what you are looking at:
- Entertainment — streaming apps, a web browser, and music.
- Terrain — a first-person video route that the treadmill climbs along with.
- Stats — a fuller breakdown of your workout so far.
You can also jump straight into a Coach Workout or a Goal Workout from here, without ending what you are doing.
The controls along the bottom
| Control | What it does |
| Speed – and + | Adjusts belt speed. Quick Speed sits alongside it for jumping straight to a pace. |
| Incline – and + | Adjusts incline. Quick Incline sits alongside it for jumping straight to a level. |
| Stop / pause | The red button. Pauses your workout, and ends it from there. |
| Cool down | The blue button. Switches your workout into cool down mode. |
The hardware around the screen
| Feature | What it is for |
| Contactless pad | Pairs your phone, Apple Watch, or Samsung Galaxy Watch by holding the device against it. |
| Wireless charging shelf | Lay a Qi-compatible phone flat on the slanted rubber pad to charge it while you work out. |
| USB port | Charges a device, and is used for console software updates. |
| Headphone jack | For wired headphones. Bluetooth headphones connect through Settings instead. |
| Reading rack | Holds a phone, tablet, or book. |
Important Wi-Fi is worth setting up before anything else. Streaming classes, Interactive Terrains, entertainment apps, and software updates all need an internet connection. See the Manager’s Configuration article. |
Where to go next
- Coach Workouts, and the four Goal Workouts and Tests articles.
- Interactive Terrains, and Entertainment.
- Connecting Your Apple Watch, Connecting Bluetooth Devices, and Connecting Your Life Fitness Connect App.
- Child Use Prevention & Emergency Stop, and ErP Mode.
Safety The red button on the touchscreen pauses and ends a workout. It is not the emergency stop — that is the red magnet on the Stop Keypad below the screen, and it needs to be clipped to you before every workout. Use extreme caution when stepping onto a moving belt. |
