Applies to: Club Series+ and Atmos Home Treadmill — SE4 Console (speed and incline limits); all Club Series+ and Atmos Home bases — SE4 Console (apps)
If children, older family members, or new exercisers share your treadmill, you can lower its top speed and incline from Facility Connect. You can also choose which streaming apps appear on the SE4 screen. Both settings apply to everyone who uses the equipment. This article shows how to set the limits, how to switch apps off and on, and how to put things back.
Important Speed and incline limits reduce how fast and steep the treadmill can go. They do not replace supervision, and they do not replace the emergency stop cord. |
Setting speed and incline limits
- Log in to Facility Connect and open Equipment.
- Click your treadmill, then click Manage Product Settings.
- Scroll to Speed & Safety.
- Lower Max Speed to the fastest speed you want the belt to reach, and Max Incline to the steepest grade.
- Click Publish. The console picks up the change within a few minutes.
| The factory maximums are 12.4 mph and incline 15 on Atmos Home, and 14 mph and incline 15 on Club Series+. Write them down before you change them so you can set them back later. |
Choosing which apps appear (SE4 console)
- Open Consoles, then the Apps & Web tab.
- Switch off any app you do not want available. All apps are on when the equipment ships, including Netflix, YouTube, TikTok, and Spotify.
- Click Publish. The app disappears from the console’s Entertainment screen. Switch it back on the same way.
Troubleshooting
- The console still shows the old limit. Give it a few minutes, and check the equipment shows a green dot on the Equipment page. Changes publish only to equipment that is online.
- I cannot find Speed & Safety. It appears only when a treadmill is selected. Bikes and cross-trainers do not have it.
- An app I switched off is still on the console. Check that you clicked Publish, and that the console is online.
Safety Tell everyone who uses the treadmill when you change a limit. Always clip the emergency stop cord to your clothing before starting a workout. |
