Applies to: Club Series+ and Atmos Home Treadmill, Cross-Trainer, Upright Bike, and Recumbent Bike — SE4 Console
When your SE4 console is not in use, it cycles through a set of Life Fitness images. With Facility Connect you can replace them with up to five of your own photos — family pictures, a race finish, a favorite trail, whatever gets you on the machine. This article shows what size the photos need to be, how to upload and position them, how to schedule them for a birthday or holiday, and how to go back to the standard images.
Before you start
Photos need to be at least 2200 x 1500 pixels, in JPG, PNG, or HEIC format, and under 10 MB each. Photos from a modern phone meet this, and iPhone HEIC files upload as they are. Wide (landscape) photos fit best.
Uploading your photos
- Log in to Facility Connect and open Content. You start on the Attract Screens tab.
- Click Create Campaign and give it a name, such as “Summer 2026.”
- Drag your photos into the upload box, or click upload images. Up to five.
- Click each photo and check the console preview. Drag the frame so the subject sits in the upper part of the screen — the console’s Login, Quick Start, and Create Workout buttons sit across the lower part.
- Under Machine Types leave All selected, or choose specific machines.
- Under Publish Date choose Now, or choose Later and set a start date and time. Tick Add End Date if you want the photos to stop on a certain day.
- Click Next, then Publish. The console shows your photos the next time it goes idle.
| Use an end date for occasions. A birthday campaign that starts on the day and ends the day after takes care of itself. |
Changing or removing photos
Open the campaign from the Attract Screens list to swap photos or change the dates. To return to the standard Life Fitness images, open the campaign and click Unpublish.
Troubleshooting
- My photo will not upload. It is probably under 2200 x 1500 pixels or over 10 MB. Photos saved from a text message or social media are often too small; use the original from your phone’s camera roll.
- The console still shows the old images. Check the equipment is online on the Equipment page. Photos publish only to equipment that is connected.
- Faces are hidden behind the buttons. Open the campaign, click the photo, and drag the frame upward in the preview.
I have an SL console. Idle-screen photos are an SE4 feature. The SL console does not support them.
Safety Set up your photos from your computer, not while standing on the equipment. |
