Facility Connect is Life Fitness’s free website for managing your connected equipment from a computer. With it, your console’s software updates itself, you can change settings like speed limits and units, and you can see whether your equipment is online. This article shows how to create a free Facility Connect account for your home, connect your console to Wi-Fi, add your equipment by serial number, and what to do if your equipment will not add.
Before you start
You will need your equipment’s serial number — it is on a label on the lower rear left-hand side of the machine — plus your home Wi-Fi network name and password, and a computer with a web browser. Facility Connect is designed for a desktop or laptop browser rather than a phone.
Creating your account
- Go to facility.lifefitness.com and click Create an Account.
- Enter your name, email address, and a password, accept the terms, and click Next.
- Choose No / Not Sure when asked whether your facility already exists.
- Fill in the facility details. Use your household name for the facility name, for example “Smith Home.” Choose Home as the facility type, then enter your address and phone number.
- Click Create Account, then click the link in the verification email.
Connecting your console to Wi-Fi
- On the home screen, tap the Language icon.
- Tap the bottom of the Select Language screen in this order: lower-left, lower-right, lower-left, lower-right. System Options opens.
- Tap Wireless Connectivity, tap Enable, then Scan.
- Choose your network, enter the password, and connect.
For more on this menu, see the article How to Access Manager’s Configuration on Your SE4 Console.
Adding your equipment
- Log in to Facility Connect and open Equipment.
- Click Add Equipment.
- Select your facility and enter the base serial number from the label. The console serial number or UUID also works.
- Click Add. Your equipment appears on the Equipment page with a green dot when it is online.
| If you have more than one Life Fitness machine connected at home, you only need to enter one serial number. Facility Connect adds the others automatically. |
What you get
| Page | What it shows |
| Equipment | Whether each machine is online, its software version, when it was last used, and its age. |
| Consoles | Settings you can change from your computer and publish to the console. |
| Service | Owner’s manuals for your console and the Life Fitness knowledge base. |
Troubleshooting
- My equipment will not add, or says it is already assigned. If the machine was first connected to the internet somewhere else, such as a dealer showroom, it is attached to that account. Use the chat icon in the bottom-left corner of Facility Connect, or contact Customer Support Services, and ask for it to be transferred to your home facility. This is normally done the same day.
- My equipment shows as offline. Facility Connect only sees equipment that is connected to Wi-Fi. Check the connection on the console, and make sure the console is awake rather than in ErP Mode.
- I never got the verification email. Check your junk folder, then use Forgot Password on the login page to have a new link sent.

Safety Settings you change in Facility Connect apply to everyone who uses the equipment. Do not publish changes while someone is exercising. |
