Applies to: Atmos Home Treadmill — SE4 Console
Interactive Terrains are filmed routes through real places that play on your Atmos Home Treadmill with the SE4 console while the incline changes automatically to match the road. This article shows how to browse the courses, choose a length and a difficulty, what happens during a route, how to switch routes mid-workout, and what to do if courses will not load.
Read the steps below, or watch the short video.
Important Interactive Terrains stream over the internet, so your treadmill needs to be connected to Wi-Fi for the full library. See the Manager’s Configuration article. |
Starting a route
- Tap Choose Workout on the home screen, then Interactive Terrains. You can also tap the Terrain tile during a workout.
- Browse the courses. Each one shows where it is.
- Tap a course to see the destination and a description of the route before you commit.
- Tap Set Up Workout and choose how long you want to go.
- Choose a difficulty — Starter, Easy, Moderate, or Hard. This sets how hard the treadmill works the elevation of the route.
- Tap Next, then start. The console counts down from three and the route begins.
During the route
- The treadmill climbs with the road. Incline changes on its own to match the elevation ahead of you.
- A progress bar shows where you are in the route, along with the terrain and segment names.
- Your stats stay on screen the whole time, alongside the video.
- You can override the incline at any point using the incline controls, and speed is always yours.
- You can switch routes mid-workout without stopping — tap back to the course list and pick another.
| Sign in to your Life Fitness Connect account before you start and your workout saves to your history automatically when the route ends. |
Troubleshooting
- The course list is empty or will not load. Check your Wi-Fi. A small selection of routes is stored on the console and will still work without an internet connection.
- The video stutters or drops quality. Your connection is struggling. A treadmill far from the router is the usual cause.
- The climbs are too steep. Choose a lower difficulty next time — Starter or Easy. Mid-route, use the incline controls or slow your pace.
- The incline is not changing. Flatter stretches of a route really are flat. Watch the incline reading over a few minutes before assuming something is wrong.
Safety The incline changes on its own during a route. Use the handrails if you feel unsteady as the deck moves, keep your feet within the walking surface, and clip the emergency stop cord to your clothing before every workout. Do not stare at the screen while running. |
