Applies to: Atmos Home Treadmill — SL Console
Manager’s Configuration is the settings menu on your Atmos Home Treadmill with the SL console. Use it to switch between miles and kilometers, change the language, adjust maximum speed, incline, and workout time, connect to Wi-Fi for software updates, or immobilize the treadmill so it cannot be used. This article shows the key sequence that opens the menu, how to move through it, and what each setting does.
Read the steps below, or watch the short video.
How to open it
- Start at the attract display — the screen that scrolls “Please choose a workout or press GO.” Do not start a workout first.
- Press the SPEED arrows in this order: UP, DOWN, UP, DOWN.
- Press STOP. The menu opens at the first item, 0: SW VER, which shows your software version.
Moving around the menu
| Key | What it does |
| Any arrow key | Moves through the list of settings, and toggles between the options once a setting is open. |
| ENTER | Opens the setting you have landed on, and confirms your selection. |
| STOP | Exits the menu. |
Settings worth knowing
| Setting | What it controls |
| Units | Whether distance and speed display in miles or kilometers. |
| Language | The language shown on the console. |
| Sound | Console tones and key beeps. |
| Max Speed | The fastest speed the treadmill will allow. |
| Max Incline | The highest incline the treadmill will allow. |
| Max Time | The longest a single workout can run. |
| ErP Mode | The energy-saving sleep mode. See the ErP Mode article. |
| Radios / Connectivity | Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Wi-Fi is what lets your treadmill receive software updates. |
| Immobilize | Locks the treadmill so it cannot be used until you turn this off again. |
| Pause Time | How long the treadmill stays paused, after you press STOP once, before the workout ends. |
| Quick Speed Confirmation | Whether the quick speed keys ask you to confirm before jumping to a new speed. Useful if you keep catching them by accident. |
| Acceleration / Deceleration | How quickly the belt speeds up and slows down when you change speed. |
| Min Speed | The slowest speed the treadmill will run at. |
The menu also contains Marathon Mode, and service items you can safely leave alone: Maintenance, SN and ATO, Reboot, Diagnostics, and Software Update.
Important This menu includes service and diagnostic settings that change how your treadmill behaves. Adjust only the settings you recognize. If you are unsure what a setting does, leave it alone and contact Customer Support Services. |
Turning on Immobilize
Immobilize locks out the treadmill entirely, so it cannot be started at all.
- Open Manager’s Configuration using the steps above.
- Scroll to Immobilize and press ENTER.
- Use the SPEED arrows to choose ON, then press ENTER.
- Press STOP to exit. To unlock it later, repeat these steps and choose OFF.
| For day-to-day child use prevention, taking the emergency stop magnet with you is simpler and just as effective. See the Child Use Prevention & Emergency Stop article. |
Troubleshooting
- The key sequence does not open anything. Check that you are on the attract display and using the SPEED arrows, not the incline arrows. Press the four arrows in an even rhythm, then STOP.
- I changed a setting and want it back. Return to the same setting and change the value back. Note the original value before you change anything so you have it to return to.
- The treadmill will not start and the console says it is immobilized. Immobilize is switched on. Open Manager’s Configuration, scroll to Immobilize, and set it to OFF.
Safety Raising Max Speed or Max Incline allows faster speeds and steeper climbs than before — make sure anyone using the treadmill knows the limits have changed. |
