Applies to: Atmos Home Treadmill — SL Console
A Manual workout on your Atmos Home Treadmill with the SL console lets you set a time goal and stay in charge of speed and incline yourself. It is the simplest workout on the console. This article shows how to start one, enter your time and weight, adjust speed and incline as you go, pause the workout, and cool down.
Read the steps below, or watch the short video.
Setting it up
- Press MANUAL in the Workouts panel, then press ENTER.
- Enter your time. Use the arrows or type it on the numeric keypad, then press ENTER. Sixty minutes is the usual maximum.
- Enter your weight and press ENTER. The treadmill uses this to estimate calories, so a realistic figure gives you a better number.
- The console counts down from three, then the belt starts moving. Have both feet on the side rails or be walking before it does.
During your workout
Nothing is locked in once you have started.
- Speed and incline — use the arrows, or the quick keys to jump straight to a level.
- Time — use the TIME arrows to extend or shorten your workout as you go.
- Cool down — press COOL DOWN to switch into cool down mode.
- Pause — press STOP once to pause, and again to end the workout. Leave it paused too long and it ends on its own.
Troubleshooting
- Pressing MANUAL does nothing. Check the emergency stop magnet is seated on the Stop Keypad — with it removed, no keys work. If the console is dark, press STOP to wake it from ErP Mode.
- The time will not go any higher. You have reached the maximum workout time set on your console. That limit can be changed in Manager’s Configuration.
- I want to change my weight after starting. End the workout with STOP and set it up again. Weight is entered before the workout begins.
Safety Clip the emergency stop cord to your clothing before you press ENTER on the last step. Use the handrails as the belt starts moving, and keep your feet within the walking surface. |
